Så kom finaleresultatet endelig ind fra DM i Haandbryg på Gårdens Pip 2007. Det er lidt sjovt, at semifinalens resultat sagde, at øllen var for sød, hvorimod finalen rent faktisk siger, at den er lidt for bitter. Ja, smag er jo individuel...

Til gengæld har min Københavnske Ratebeer kammerat smagt selvsamme øl og skriver nedenstående beskrivelse:
"Bottle. Large thick and almost creamy like off-white head that mostly lasted. Excellent lacework was displayed in glass. Slightly cloudy looking body. Thought the mist of this brew was a sparkling appearance with an amber like color. Aroma was at first quit hoppy with notes of grapefruit, pine, hint of elderflower and some citrus notes as well. Very floral projection as the predominant, but a clear malty base can be detected as the first sip was taken. Over the palate, aroma of fruit, in particular apricot and peach like notes, with light notes of liquorish and hint of spicy feel as well. Medium bodied leaning towards a full body, with very nice carbonation and a dry texture. Impressively well balanced between moderated sweet and bitter notes with a hint of citrus as well. The sweet and dry notes wins as the lingering almost liquorish like finish leave the finial impression. Well done René this was really a enjoyable experience, keep up the good work"
